THE SECOND JOYFUL MYSTERY

THE VISITATION
LORD, GRANT ME THE GRACE OF LOVE OF THY NEIGHBOR
Our Father...

During those days Mary set out and traveled to the hill country in haste to a
town of Judah, where she entered the house of Zechariah and greeted
Elizabeth.  (Luke 1:39,40)
Hail Mary...

When Elizabeth heard Mary's greeting, the infant leaped in her womb, and
Elizabeth, filled with the holy Spirit, cried out in a loud voice and said, "Most
blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb."
(Luke 1:41,42)
Hail Mary...

"And how does this happen to me, that the mother of my Lord should come
to me?"  (Luke 1:43)
Hail Mary...

"For at the moment the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the infant
in my womb leaped for joy."  (Luke 1:44)
Hail Mary...

"Blessed are you who believed that what was spoken to you by the Lord
would be fulfilled."  (Luke 1:45)
Hail Mary...

And Mary said: "My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord; my spirit
rejoices in God my savior."  (Luke 1:46,47)
Hail Mary...

"For he has looked upon his handmaid's lowliness; behold, from now on
will all ages call me blessed."  (Luke 1:48)
Hail Mary...

"The Mighty One has done great things for me, and holy is his name.  His
mercy is from age to age to those who fear him."  (Luke 1:49,50)
Hail Mary...

"He has helped Israel his servant, remembering his mercy, according to his
promise to our fathers, to Abraham and to his descendants forever."
(Luke 1:54,55)
Hail Mary...

Mary remained with her about three months and then returned to her
home.  (Luke 1:56)
Hail Mary...

The Glory Be....

Glory be to the Father, and to
the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning, is now,
and ever shall be, world
without end.  Amen.
O My Jesus...

O my Jesus, forgive us our sins.
Save us from the fires of Hell;
lead all souls into Heaven,
especially those in most need
of Thy mercy.  Amen.
