THE THIRD LUMINOUS MYSTERY

THE PROCLAMATION OF THE KINGDOM
LORD, GRANT ME THE DESIRE FOR HOLINESS
Our Father...

"This is the time of fulfillment. The kingdom of God is at hand.
Repent, and believe in the gospel."  (Mark 1:15)
Hail Mary...

As he passed by the Sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and his
brother Andrew casting their nets into the sea; they were
fishermen.  (Mark 1:16)
Hail Mary...

Jesus said to them, "Come after me, and I will make you fishers
of men."  (Mark 1:17)
Hail Mary...

Then they abandoned their nets and followed him.
(Mark 1:18)
Hail Mary...

They came bringing to him a paralytic carried by four men.
Unable to get near Jesus because of the crowd, they opened up
the roof above him. After they had broken through, they let
down the mat on which the paralytic was lying.  (Mark 2:3,4)
Hail Mary...

When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, "Child, your
sins are forgiven."  (Mark 2:5)
Hail Mary...

Jesus immediately knew in his mind what they were thinking to
themselves, so he said, "Why are you thinking such things in
your hearts?  Which is easier, to say to the paralytic, 'Your sins
are forgiven,' or to say, 'Rise, pick up your mat and walk'?
(Mark 2:8,9)
Hail Mary...

But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority to
forgive sins on earth"-- he said to the paralytic, "I say to you,
rise, pick up your mat, and go home."  (Mark 2:10,11)
Hail Mary...

Some scribes who were Pharisees saw that he was eating with
sinners and tax collectors and said to his disciples, "Why does
he eat with tax collectors and sinners?"
(Mark 2:16)
Hail Mary...

Jesus heard this and said to them (that), "Those who are well do
not need a physician, but the sick do. I did not come to call the
righteous but sinners."  (Mark 2:17)
Hail Mary...

The Glory Be....

Glory be to the Father, and to
the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning, is now,
and ever shall be, world
without end.  Amen.
O My Jesus...

O my Jesus, forgive us our sins.
Save us from the fires of Hell;
lead all souls into Heaven,
especially those in most need
of Thy mercy.  Amen.
