This man they pressed into service to carry the cross.

women who beat their breasts and lamented over him.

Jerusalem, do not weep for me.  Weep for yourselves
and for your children."  (Lk. 23: 28)  -

him to be crucified.  (Lk. 23: 32)  -

which means Skull Place), they gave him a drink of wine
flavored with gall, which he tasted but refused to drink.

among them by casting lots;  then they sat down there
and kept watch over him.

very self."  (Lk. 9: 23)  -

steps."  (Lk. 9: 23)  -

loses his life for my sake, will save it."
(Lk. 9: 24)  -
Hail Mary...

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the
Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is
now, and ever shall be, world without end.
Amen.

O my Jesus, forgive us our sins. Save us from the
fires of Hell; lead all souls into Heaven,
especially those in most need of Thy mercy.
Amen.
