THE SECOND GLORIOUS MYSTERY

THE ASCENSION
LORD, GRANT ME THE GRACE OF HOPE
Our Father...

He said to them, "These are my words that I spoke to you while I was
still with you, that everything written about me in the law of Moses
and in the prophets and psalms must be fulfilled."  (Luke 24:44)
Hail Mary...

And he said to them, "Thus it is written that the Messiah would suffer
and rise from the dead on the third day and that repentance, for the
forgiveness of sins, would be preached in his name to all the nations,
beginning from Jerusalem.  (Luke 24:47)
Hail Mary...

You are witnesses of these things.  (Luke 24:48)  Hail Mary...

Then he led them (out) as far as Bethany, raised his hands, and
blessed them.  (Luke 24:50)
Hail Mary...

Then Jesus approached and said to them, "All power in heaven and on
earth has been given to me.  (Matthew 28:18)
Hail Mary...

"Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in
the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the holy Spirit,
teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.   And
behold, I am with you always, until the end of the age."
(Matthew 28:19,20)
Hail Mary...

Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved; whoever does not
believe will be condemned.  (Mark 16:16)
Hail Mary...

While meeting with them, he enjoined them not to depart from
Jerusalem, but to wait for "the promise of the Father about which you
have heard me speak; for John baptized with water, but in a few days
you will be baptized with the holy Spirit."  (Acts 1:4,5)
Hail Mary...

When he had said this, as they were looking on, he was lifted up, and
a cloud took him from their sight.  (Acts 1:9)
Hail Mary...

While they were looking intently at the sky as he was going, suddenly
two men dressed in white garments stood beside them.  They said,
"Men of Galilee, why are you standing there looking at the sky? This
Jesus who has been taken up from you into heaven will return in the
same way as you have seen him going into heaven."  (Acts 1:10,11)
Hail Mary...

The Glory Be....

Glory be to the Father, and to
the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning, is now,
and ever shall be, world
without end.  Amen.
O My Jesus...

O my Jesus, forgive us our sins.
Save us from the fires of Hell;
lead all souls into Heaven,
especially those in most need
of Thy mercy.  Amen.
